Terrie Petree is the editor of the Communicator magazine, the nation’s largest publication for home inspectors and appraisers. Published quarterly by the Foundation of Real Estate Appraisers (FREA) in San Diego, California, the Communicator reaches over 140,000 real estate professionals in the United States and Canada. The Communicator’s mission is to cover industry regulations and trends from the unique perspective of home inspectors and appraisers.

The daughter of an English professor, Terrie Petree is by no means the grammarian her mother is, but she was indoctrinated with the love for a well-turned phrase at an early age and continues to pursue the perfectly written sentence. Before becoming editor of the Communicator, Petree was a freelance writer and editor in San Diego.
